Canada added 41K jobs, unemployment rate unchanged

The Canadian labour market added 41K (+0.2%) jobs in April, with all gains made in part-time work. Full-time employment held steady. For the fifth consecutive month, the unemployment rate held steady at 5.0% in April, just above the all-time low of 4.9% in June and July 2022.
